So football is finally coming back to us after a pretty boring international break. Well boring with one notable exception; Wayne Rooney. You can think what you like about him but you can't say he's boring!
Well the word came down from UEFA (FIFA?) that Rooney is to serve out 3 games for his 'physical assault' which of course means that he will miss the entire group stage of the European Championships. However I think there is no chance that Fabio will refuse to pick him, England are expected to pass through the group stages with or without Rooney and like him or not he is an asset to the squad.
That's why backing Rooney to go to the Euro's at 1/6 is a pretty safe bet. Only problem is because of the short odds if you make this bet you are effectively putting some of your bankroll out of commission for a lengthy period of time.
