So the racing went well yesterday, another 2 winners in the bank. The football went well also but not because of some excellent picks by myself. I got from a usually reliable source that Rio Ferdinand and Rooney would be out again. So I thought that Berbatov would be likely to score and Bayern Munich would have good chances to break down the United defence. Unfortunately my information was bad and Berbatov didn't start however the Over 2.5 goals bet still stood and profit was made.

So yesterday was a pretty successful day; Chain of Events was nowhere in Doncaster and Man Utd and Rangers both had comfortable victories. Unfortunately my fun bet of the day (Super Heinz on 7 teams) only managed to bring in 4 winners so from my £12 bet I was only returned £3.53, which is a shame. I still can't believe it was Arsenal that let me down and Chelsea could beat Villa by such a wide margin!

The Bookies Secret Review? And Today's Picks

Right,

So the bookies secret has finally launched today after all the hype surrounding it. Personally I don't think I will even bother buying it as I can't see it being any different to all of the other 'miracle' systems out there. I don't like the idea of just buying a system because the best systems evolve over time, they require constant tinkering on an almost daily basis and because of this whenever you buy a system the core of the system or 'the rules' could be obsolete within hours and no longer work! This is why whenever I publish anything I try to make it a learning tool so punters can become more profitable through increased betting knowledge not by following some outdated system.

Sorry guys but Friday is quite possibly the worst day for betting, all of the good sports don't play any games tonight and any that do I can't find any decent plays for. The horse racing is usually fairly flat on a friday in anticipation of the weekend's racing (excluding of course major festivals!)

 

For those of you desperate for a bet Wigan might be a good punt against Leeds in the Super League but I am not doing it so I am not including it in my results!

Good plays yesterday easy win in the horse race and then a decent win by Everton to make me go 2 for 2 on the day. A number of you emailed me saying that you had another tipster recommend laying Everton, and even though I was right in the end and they were wrong you should probably in the future go with your other  tipster as if you start missing out picks your stats for them will not be complete and accurate and then there is no point in using them! Hope that makes sense!

Some things to think about before you use a Horse Racing tipping service

Horse Racing is a great sport. There is literally an infinite amount of information available for pretty much every race. When trying to make your own picks there are varying degrees of lengths that people go to to find their chosen horses. Some people just like to look at the past form of the horses competing in a race while some like to go as far as going down to the stables of the horses and seeing them train for the race to see for themselves what sort of form they are in. Regardless of which camp you fall into you will have probably thought to yourself at one point that paying a professional tipster would be good for your game as it will provide you with some free time and will gain you some cash! Seems like a win-win doesn't it. Well sometimes it can be as long as you follow the following precautionary tips: 1) Only use a tipping service that shows you the results - Some tipping services simply claim that they have 10/10 of the last races. How do you know they are not lying? I could easily say that I have picked the winner in every race for the past year but it wouldn't be true! 2) Only use a tipping service that shows monthly profits consistently - This may seem obvious but lots of people overlook the month by month data in favor of the running total. A service may possibly be in profit for the past 5 years but has had 6 out of the last 7 months losing, this is obviously a system you would not want. However a service that shows small but consistent profits is one that you definitely want to check out. 3) Always check out what their typical bet is - Some services claim that they are in profit for over 900 in the past month. However if they are making bets at 1000 per race then this is not that great. However a service that claims 1400 in the past month with 25 a race then this is much better. 4) Sign up to the horse laying service that is £9000 in profit for £100 lays, that shows consistent monthly profits and shows all of its results on site.
